The team behind Connectea

Connectea is an independent project developed by Iván Navas, a software developer based in Spain.

The goal is simple: a file-sharing tool that works without friction — no mandatory accounts, no artificial size limits, and end-to-end encryption when you need it.

Why Connectea exists

Most file-sharing tools require sign-up, expire links, or cap file sizes. Connectea was built to eliminate that friction.

The Minecraft plugin was the first use case — a permanent room with a synced server. But the heart of the product is file sharing: fast, encrypted, and accessible from any browser without installing anything.
