Connectea collects the minimum information necessary to operate. Below is a breakdown of what may be collected depending on how you use the service.
- Anonymous usage analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to measure site visits. No personally identifiable information is collected.
- TikTok Pixel and Google Ads: we use these pixels to measure the performance of our advertising. They collect browsing data according to their respective policies.
- Email (optional): if you enter your email address in the download notification form (shown only to mobile visitors), we use it solely to send you the download link.
- We do NOT collect: your file contents, encryption passwords, or any personal data beyond what is listed above.
2. How We Use Your Data
Analytics data is used to improve the product and measure ad performance. Download emails are used exclusively to send you the link and are deleted once that is done.
3. Data Retention
Connectea session tokens expire when a room closes. Download emails are deleted after the link is sent. Analytics data is retained according to the policies of Vercel, TikTok, and Google.
